Deep Tissue Therapy (Basti)
Basti is a soothing treatment where a large quantity of warm herbal oil is retained on the affected area to relieve pain, stiffness, and inflammation.
The benefits of the treatment come from the herbal oil. The warmth and pressure of the oil allows deeper absorption into the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, relaxing spasms and reducing pain and stiffness.

Kati (Lower Back) Basti is a soothing treatment where a large quantity of warm medicated herbal oil is retained on the lower back by using a dam of dough (made of black gram flour). Once the oil is removed, the area is gently massaged followed by hot towel fomentation to assist with the healing process. It is used to relieve pain, stiffness and inflammation in the mid-lower back; especially good in cases of slipped disc, spondylitis, and sciatica.
